Training
At JS Sport Horses Inc, we offer training and consignment services. Training/Sale Board at JS Sport Horses Inc is a full-service program that includes: training rides, scheduled lessons that work for each customer, daily grooming, and tacking up and cooling out from rides/lessons.
Starting young horses under tack is another service offered at JS Sport Horses Inc. We start with good ground basics which include obedience and trust so that we may carry those basics through as we teach them to properly lunge and work under tack. Once they have been started under tack, we work to teach the young horse to trust the rider and understand the rider's aids so that the horse can continue to develop their proper muscles.
JS Sport Horses Inc has a well-rounded marketing program that can be tailored to meet your specific needs. We offer a variety of advertisement options including but not limited to: sale videos that can be uploaded to the internet, pictures formatted in a slide show presentation, and written copy for the various advertising venues including internet sites (i.e. Big Eq, Equine.com, Warmbloods-for-Sale, etc.). JS Sport Horses Inc has an "in house" person who is both camera and computer savvy to provide exceptional advertisements.
Riding Lessons
JS Sport Horses Inc philosophy is that in order to succeed, all horses and riders need to be in an ongoing instructional program. JS Sport Horses Inc lesson program involves students taking a minimum of one lesson per week. These lessons are taught in a private or small group setting and are customized to educate and challenge their abilities as well as improve on their weaknesses.
Our trainers take the time to explain to students not only what to do, but the "how" and "why" of what they are being asked to do. Lessons must be taught in a very quiet and supportive atmosphere, always emphasizing the positive while giving suggestions on how to correct the negative. We strive to teach students that they need to learn to communicate clearly through their aids so that their horses respond quickly and correctly.
Our lesson program is structured around monthly subscription packages, with invoices issued at the end of the preceding month and due by the 1st of the current month. We understand that unforeseen circumstances arise, so we offer makeup lessons for absences due to vacation, illness, or injury, provided we receive at least 24 hours' written notice via email or text message. Committed to maximizing our riders' development, we ensure each student receives ample saddle time. Additionally, we offer one complimentary one-hour group unmounted lesson per month, focusing on enhancing our students equine knowledge.
